Carol offers lessons in violin and viola at all levels as well as beginning harp. She is also available to coach string chamber music and give demonstrations of violin-making.

about myself
| |
 Carol Holmes is a violinist and strings educator with a lifetime of experience which comes from her family background. Her father was her first teacher and is a former orchestra teacher in the community. The family also runs the well-known Brobst Violin Shop in the Washington Metro area where Carol learned the craft of violin-making and restoration. For years she performed in modern orchestras, but is currently focusing on baroque performance practice and especially loves to perform on her custom made Gasparo da Salo copy viola by her brother.
